“Morning Light presents a seated female form composed through layered figuration, where passages of the lighter blue background emerge through the body, dissolving the boundary between presence and space. The figure sits upon a dark blue base, anchoring her within a quieter weight, while one arm lifts over the head in a gesture that feels both poised and suspended. Golden skin tones, interwoven with peach and soft pink, modulate the surface with warmth against the cooler atmospheric field. Within The DANCE: Between Polarity, the work navigates openness and containment, where the figure is neither fully formed nor fully absorbed, but held in a state of continual becoming.”
