1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and to provide information to the site owners.

2. How We Use Cookies

iSee uses cookies for the following purposes:

  • Essential cookies: Required for authentication, security, and core functionality of the platform.
  • Analytics cookies: Help us understand how visitors interact with our site so we can improve the experience. We use PostHog for anonymous analytics.
  • Preference cookies: Remember your settings and preferences for a better experience.

3. Essential Cookies

These cookies are necessary for the website to function and cannot be switched off. They include:

  • Authentication session cookies (Supabase)
  • Security tokens to prevent cross-site request forgery
  • Cookie consent preferences

4. Analytics

We use PostHog for analytics. There are two levels of tracking depending on your consent:

  • Without consent (default): Anonymous analytics using sessionStorage. Data does not persist between sessions and cannot be used to identify you. Session replay may be recorded to help us improve the user experience, with all inputs masked.
  • With consent: Persistent tracking using localStorage to provide a better, personalized experience across sessions. This allows us to remember your preferences and understand long-term usage patterns.

We also use Microsoft Clarity for heatmaps and session recordings to understand how users interact with our pages. Clarity follows the same two-level approach: without consent it operates in cookieless mode; with consent, cookies are enabled for more accurate session tracking.

5. Third-Party Cookies

Some third-party services we use may set their own cookies. These include payment processing (Stripe) and content delivery services. We have no control over these cookies and recommend reviewing the privacy policies of these services.

6. Managing Cookies

You can control and manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies. Please note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of our platform, particularly authentication and session management.
