About the Work

“Brigitte presents a rear view of the female form, legs grounded in a wide, open stance, constructed through a cubist language of interlocking circular forms. The body is rendered in shifting yellows, pinks, and oranges, held together by sparse green linear markings that trace and interrupt the curves rather than define them. Set against a white field activated by expressive blue brushstrokes, the figure appears both constructed and dissolving, as if assembled through rhythm rather than anatomy. Within The DANCE: Between Polarity, the final panel resolves the triptych through expansion rather than closure where structure gives way to dispersion, and the body becomes a constellation of form, color, and spatial tension.”
