This print is from a pencil drawing I made and shows the Gibson J-200 acoustic guitar which the Gibson Guitar Corporation first put into production in 1937. To begin with it was called the Super Jumbo but changed its name in 1939 to the Super Jumbo 200, replacing the Gibson Advanced Jumbo.
William McLean Kerr, a Scottish artist and illustrator, established his Ayrshire studio in 1996. His work, which includes paintings, drawings, and fine art prints, has been exhibited widely across Scotland, including solo exhibitions at the Maclaurin Art Gallery in Ayr and the Annan Gallery in Glasgow. Kerr has also undertaken numerous private and corporate commissions, with pieces held in collections globally.
