About the Work

“The Sirens (Panel I) presents a tightly cropped female figure in side view, the body fragmented through a cubist logic softened by expressionistic gesture. One leg lifts into the composition while the torso opens forward, both breasts exposed, rendered in layered pinks that pulse against a saturated blue ground. The close framing intensifies the sense of proximity, allowing form to shift between presence and abstraction, where anatomy becomes rhythm and surface rather than narrative. As part of The DANCE: Between Polarity, the work initiates a triptych exploring attraction, fragmentation, and perceptual pull, where the figure hovers between emergence and dissolution, held within a charged field of color and movement.”
