This painting was made for my brother Tyler James… one of the few people in this life who has always kept it real with me no matter where life had us standing. We’ve seen each other broke, lost, winning, healing, surviving, and rebuilding.
Rosa Vela, under the artistic persona Raul Damian, delves into abstract expressionism with a focus on the visceral connection between raw emotion and unrestrained creativity. Through her work, she captures the dynamic movement of emotion, allowing each piece to resonate with viewers on a profound level.
