An ink and watercolor study of a Spartan warrior facing a lion — two forces meeting eye to eye. The warrior’s red-plumed helmet is the only color in the piece. Everything else is graphite and shadow. Courage is not the absence of fear.
Roberto Cisneros, the creative force behind Lost Soul Art, is a contemporary surrealist who delves into the intricacies of the psychological mind and transformation. His work captures the beauty and discomfort found in unexpected places, often realized through public painting projects across San Francisco.
