This has been an exercise in 'studio archaeology'—no map or plan, just letting years of stray marks and excess paint build their own story. Currently at a crossroads: to resolve the painting, I’d have to paint over the very things that made it worth painting in the first place. For now, I’m letting the chaos stand.
