“Echoes of the Self is a visual symphony of fragmented identity and collective memory. Layers of overlapping faces, lips, and eyes—some painted, others collaged or drawn—create a hauntingly beautiful tapestry of emotion and multiplicity. A central figure, adorned with a textured, crystalline headdress and shimmering skin, emerges from the chaos, simultaneously part of and apart from the fractured gaze of others. Web-like black lines weave through the composition, evoking neural pathways or spiderwebs of perception, tying together the many masks and selves we wear. This piece confronts the viewer with questions of recognition, vulnerability, and the kaleidoscopic nature of the human psyche.”
