Alastair Hibbert is a mixed media artist, sculptor, and painter working predominantly with Cumbrian stone. Educated at Kendal College, he has developed a practice that includes both stone and metal sculpture, as well as en plein air landscape painting. His work explores the dialogue between land and material, with paintings extending in tactile layers and sculptures crafted from quartz, granite, marble, and limestone.
