Egon Schiele

Austrian Expressionist painter and protégé of Gustav Klimt, known for his raw, unflinching depictions of the human body. His distorted, angular figures, explicit self-portraits, and psychologically intense works shocked early 20th-century Vienna but are now recognized as masterpieces of Expressionism.
