After seeing a country show of generational gardeners I started thinking of how the beauty of flowers are curated over generations. Using some gold ink and painting both sides of the xuan ( ice paper ) there is a depth to the work employing this technique to this ancient medium. I use acrylic ink from Australia. Very lightfast and transparent. The work is them mounted onto another sheet.
